For me, it’s always been about ‘the dog’. I love talking with dog people, sharing pictures and stories. It’s kind of like “You tell me about yours and I’ll tell you about mine”. I’ve done All Breed Rescue for 10 years and managed two kennels. My work at both kennels was fantastic because I got to spend all day doing what I love. I am the proud ‘person’ to a beautiful Border Collie named Bae. The best people I have met in my life I’ve met through love of our four legged friends……I look forward to meeting many more as Mary and I ‘Blog on….’ with our Dog Chick selves.
I got my first German Shepherd Dog when I was in high school when my mother agreed to get a second dog. I found a beautiful German Shepherd dog named Angel owned by a breeder she was very sweet dog, but very shy. In order to get Angel, we had to breed her one time which my Mother agreed too. The breeder we got Angel from also showed her dogs in the breed ring and did some obedience. This was a great interest to me and I started showing Angel and one of the pup?s that we kept from her first litter which we named Akela. That was over 30 years ago and since that time I have bred and shown a number of German Shepherds Dogs in both the breed in the obedience ring. After moving to
